Local Performance Assessment: LPA

Department of Local Administration, a Thai government department which is responsible for supporting, facilitating, and strengthening the works of local administrative organizations in providing public services, assesses all the local administrative organizations (7,852 organizations) every year, starting from 2006, to evaluate 4 aspects as follows:
- Management
- Human Resource Management and Council Affairs
- Financial Management
- Public Services
To learn about the strengths and weaknesses of local administrative organizations and to support, develop, and improve appropriately, The Local Performance Assessment team will be appointed according to the appropriateness and the numbers of local administrative organizations in the area
